Northwestern Area Educational Foundation Scholarship
Information: The Northwestern Area Educational Foundation Scholarships are one-year, non-renewable awards being offered to a 2019 graduating high school senior, who is enrolled at a university, college, vocational or technical accredited school in a program that will lead towards graduation.  The winner will receive a scholarship to be paid directly to the college, university, vocational or technical accredited school in a single installment.  Any awards must be used within two years of award.

Northwestern Student Council Scholarship
Information: The Northwestern Student Council is dedicated to supporting the Northwestern School District and the student body.  The council encourages students to be an active part in their school and their community. One of the community events the student council hosts is multiple blood drives at our school. Since we have very generous blood donors the Central Illinois Community Blood Center has donated money to the council for each blood drive in order to offer this scholarship. This year the Student Council will be offering two $250 scholarships.  The scholarship money will be awarded by check payable to the college, university or technical school where the student is officially enrolled.

Palmyra Lion's Club Scholarship
Information: The Palmyra Lions Club will award a scholarship to at least one graduate of Northwestern High School each year.  The scholarship may be used at any post-secondary university, college, community college or at an approved technical school.  Payment of the scholarship money will be made to the winner upon proof of registration and payment of tuition and fees.
Due: Application must be turned into Mrs. Nell by April 24th.

American Legion Post 1034 Scholarship
Information: This is a $500 scholarship available to any Northwestern graduating senior who plans to attend a 2 or 4 year college, or a trade or technical school. Applications available in Mrs. Nell's office.
Due: Applications must be turned into Mrs. Nell by April 27th. 

Alger National Career & Technical Scholarship Program
Information: Scholarships available for high school graduates with a demonstrated financial need who are planning to complete a two year or less career or technical degree/certificate program.

Bob Price Memorial Scholarship 
Deadline: March 31, 2020
Information: The Bob Price Memorial Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship available to any student who is pursuing a degree in law enforcement, fire science, or public safety.

GFWC ILLINOIS FEDERATION OF WOMEN’S CLUBS 2020 VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Information: $1000 scholarship available for seniors pursuing a vocational field. The vocational field focuses on job-specific training for students interested in the skilled trades rather than students
pursuing professional careers. Most vocational students will be attending junior colleges, vocational or trade schools.
Examples of vocational fields of study include but are not limited to: cosmetology, culinary arts, building trades,
automotive, medical & dental assisting, computer repair and technology, firefighting, HVAC, office management, welding.

Lincoln Land Community College
Information: All students considering or planning to attend LLCC beginning in fall 2020 are encouraged to apply. If you are a new LLCC student, you must apply to LLCC (https://forms.llcc.edu/applyonline/) and activate your LLCC email prior to filling out our online scholarship application.

Information: $2,000 scholarships available to High School Seniors pursuing careers in agriculture

Burger King Scholarship
Scholarship available for high school seniors who have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA and community involvement.

CBAI Foundation for Community Banking Annual Scholarship

Carlinville Area Hospital Auxiliary

Hagan Scholarship Foundation
Various scholarships available for students residing in a rural areas who have an Eligible Family Contribution of less than $6,500. EFC is determined by completing the FAFSA.

Acorn Equality Fund
Note: Acorn Equality Fund is a non-profit organization that provides college scholarships to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students and allies in Illinois' downstate counties. The 2020 scholarship range from $1,000 to $4,000. 

Timberline Billing Service LLC: Scholarship Award
Note: A scholarship fund designated exclusively for students with IEPs and who attend a district that is a client of Timberline Billing Service LLC. The annual TBS Scholarship Award gives $2,000 to five students to pursue their dreams of higher education.
