Kindergarten through 3rd grades recently went fishing with Mrs. Nell to learn the difference between big fish and small fish sized problems. Students determined that small fish problems are those that kids are strong enough to solve all by themselves. Big fish problems are those in which safety is at stake and they must involve an adult to find a solution.
Sixth grade students students are pictured watching a clip from Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Mrs. Nell discussed how she is available for students to come talk to her if they ever find themselves having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!

Seniors met with Mrs. Nell on August 17, 2018 to learn more about the counseling resources available for them. They participated in a "Turn Over a New Leaf" activity which led to discussions about how they all currently have a fresh start on a new school year! Seniors will begin meeting individually with Mrs. Nell during the last week of August to discuss their future career and educational goals.
